Oh Lord!

I found you, Oh Lord!
Not in religions;
Not in holy texts;
But within my heart.

I found you, Oh Lord!
Not in temples;
Not in churches or mosques;
But in the poor man's eyes.

I found you, Oh Lord!
Not sitting on a throne;
Not wearing garland of flowers;
But wandering amidst the sad.

I found you, Oh Lord!
Not in palaces of gold;
Not wearing ornaments of silver;
But in the hearts of the oppressed.

I found you, Oh Lord!
Everywhere and in everything;
In myself and in others;
In this world and the worlds beyond.

Witch

I am a witch;
An evil sorceress;
With blood for tears;
And swords for nails.

People run away;
Seeing my very shadow;
Kids scream and shrug;
Every time I lift my eyes.

Darkness is my only attire;
And night, my opulent mansion;
Even the wind seems to fear;
To tread within my sight.

Solitude is my company;
I am the queen of my world;
A world drenched in blood;
A world, cold and dead.

Here I come;
To drink your happiness;
To kill your soul;
To celebrate your slow death.

I love the darkness of night;
When I glide across the sky;
In search of my prey;
Hiding behind the clouds.

I shall cut every vein;
Throbbing inside you;
And drink every drop;
Of your rich, hot blood.

Do not worry my dear;
I shall keep you alive;
Till your last drop of blood;
Quenches my aching thirst.

Then I shall leave;
Leaving you behind;
To decay and rot;
In the company of the night.

For you!

As I disembark;
This ship of sorrows;
I look beyond;
The sky of uncertainty.

As the darkness closes on;
Blanketing my lonely soul;
I feel a strange heartbeat;
Cuddling my broken heart.

I lifted my eyes;
To devour the divine sight;
A cornucopia of love;
Amidst the kingdom of evil;

I felt subdued;
By your indomitable spirit;
I see only you and;
Nothing else around me.

As I lay cold;
On this frozen river bed;
My heart cries aloud;
Melting the snowy silence.

As I lift my eyes;
Towards the star dotted sky;
I see you fly away;
Like a beautiful phoenix.

I lay perplexed;
In the arms of reality;
You were an illusion;
Of my virtual mind.

As I bid adios;
To whatever is left behind;
A tear trickles down;
On to the wet floor of life.
